- Group training or individual coaching on (academic) presentations at international conferences or business presentations

Optimise the impact of you as a presenter and of your presentation.
For scientists and academics, the presentation of their work results in English often is an essential part of a successful professional career. However, those of us to whom English is not L1, may often wish they could draw on the same linguistic skills potential in English as in their native tongue.
This workshop therefore not only focuses on basic rhetorical and presentation techniques, but first and foremost on linguistic design elements in the culturally complex context of academic discussion and debate.
The structure and impact of English as a Lingua Franca will be examined in greater detail in the technical context of the participants who will see how active listening in combination with linguistic alertness and cultural awareness allows for quick-wit responses in challenging communicative interactions.
The aim of this workshop is to create an authentic, polite and convincing impression through the culturally competent use of English as the language of science.
